Originally starting out in 2010 until 2021 our work was based around our flagship weekly radio programme SacredSpace102fm (SS102fm); now the C&SI team aims to work on various podcasts which contribute to the New Evangelisation and spread hope and faith online and on air. This page hosts C&SI's podcasts including our weekly podcast as well as other recordings and inspirational talks which we would like to share with you our listeners.
For our historic information and programme content you can also visit our old blog (2010 to 2019) at https://sacredspace102.blogspot.com/ (Please note that the blog is no longer being updated).

C&SI - Creating a culture of care in broken relationships - 8 Sept 2024 (S04E41)
On this weeks podcast we are sharing a reflection from the 2024 Novena for Perpetual Help in Clonard Monastery in Belfast by Marcella Philips on the theme 'Creating a Culture of Care'.
We have our regular sharing of the up coming saints of the week, liturgical odds and ends and some notices. For those in Ireland looking to find out about the visit of the relics of St Bernadette the website is here.
In part three we reflect on the Sunday gospel (Mark 7:31-37) where we have to account of the healing of the deaf man who had an impediment in his speech.
Creating a culture of care
Marcella Philips spoke on 'Creating a culture of care in broken relationships'. She finished by reciting this poem by Michelle Harverson 'The Shades of Life' which Marcella said encapsulated what she had shared:
We all have a story
a tale to be told
of the joys we’ve experienced
and the hardships we’ve known.
Sometimes we wear them
on our sleeves for all to see
but often they’re hidden
as deep as they can be.
So, let us be kind
for we never truly know
the struggles and the battles
that others undergo.
May empathy and compassion
be the guiding lights we share
and may we always remember
that each story deserves care.
For in our human journey
we all need love and grace
so, let us be kind to one another
and create a better place.
