Now we share our work via this page including our weekly podcast as well as other recordings and inspirational talks which we would like to share with you our listeners. C&SI - Getting to know the Holy Spirit in our lives - 19 May 2024 (S04E26)
On this Pentecost Day the People of God celebrate the culmination of Eastertide with the marking of the out pouring of the Holy Spirit on the early church. In a world that seems a little mad at the moment, the great invocation and prayer Come Holy Spirit is truly a timely prayer.
On this weeks podcast, we are joined by Fr Frank Duhig to reflect on how we are can explore and come to know the silent member of the Holy Trinity in our lives whose prescience is that still small voice which speaks to us at our inner most core.
We have our regular run through the liturgical odds and ends of the coming week which marks the return to Ordinary time in the liturgical calendar.
In the third part of this weeks podcast we reflect on the gospel reading for Pentecost which for this year is from John 15:26-27, 16:12-15. But it is probably advisable to explore lectio this week with all the readings of the Mass of Pentecost.
