Originally starting out in 2010 until 2021 our work was based around our flagship weekly radio programme SacredSpace102fm (SS102fm); now the C&SI team aims to work on various podcasts which contribute to the New Evangelisation and spread hope and faith online and on air. This page hosts C&SI's podcasts including our weekly podcast as well as other recordings and inspirational talks which we would like to share with you our listeners.
For our historic information and programme content you can also visit our old blog (2010 to 2019) at https://sacredspace102.blogspot.com/ (Please note that the blog is no longer being updated).

C&SI - The Story of Fatima - 12 May 2024 (S04E25)
On this weeks podcast we are continuing our small series on different Marian devotions and shrines which we are going to be covering for the month of May - as of course in Catholic tradition May is the month of Mary!
So to get things off to a start we are delving back into the archive to an interview we did in May 2017 with Michael Keating to share the story of Our Lady of Fatima on what was the 100th anniversary year of the apparitions. The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared six times to three shepherd children near the town of Fatima, Portugal between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Appearing to the children, the Blessed Virgin told them that She had been sent by God with a message for every man, woman and child living in our century. The message of Our Lady, though reported in much detail and still the object of much discussion, was very simple. She asked the children to be faithful to the rosary and to the devotion to her Immaculate Heart, and she asked for the consecration of Russia and the world to herself, warning of the dangers to the world of continued wars. She emphasised the need for penance and she taught the children several prayers.
We have our regular run through the liturgical odds and ends for the coming week in part one and of course in part three we have our weekly reflection on the Sunday gospel which this week is Mark's account of the Ascension.
