Show Notes

On this Pentecost Sunday we come to the close of the Easter Season as we celebrate  the great feast of the Holy Spirit and the descent on the apostles. We are joined Geraldine Creaton ans Barbara & Gerard Hanley -  members of the Emmanuel Community in Ireland to reflect on opening ourselves up to the Holy Spirit and the gifts and fruits which that openness can bring to our lives.

The Emmanuel Community also share with us their reflections on this weeks gospel (John 14:15-16, 23b-26) as well as our regular liturgical odds and ends and our weekly prayer space.

The current synodal pathway is a great sign of hope and a source new energy. It is our desire on the TSS team to give whatever support we can. Accordingly, our summer programme 2022 offers some biblical foundations for entering the synodal process fruitfully and imagining a new way of being church.

  • Jessie Rogers: Following the Spirit in Luke-Acts
  • Sean Goan: The Synodal Path in the Gospel of John: Communion, Participation and Mission
  • Kieran O’ Mahony: “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood” (1 Peter)
